40 year old very married blonde woman having a midlife crisis who heads to Japan alone to follow her dreams. Be careful what you wish for ... you just may get it.
Mark is the one going through the real ordeal. He is the one who had to watch her fade. I had to say goodbye to her when I left for Japan. Although you never know for sure, there was a very good chance I would never see her again. Or more importantly, never hear her again. Her purr was so distinctive. But I also had to say goodbye to a dog I might very well never see again, and say goodbye to Mark for a year. And 12 hours later arrive in another country, learn the ropes and start a new job. No time for melancholy. Mark is the one who is having to deal with the house sans her royal highness. And she was a trooper right to the end. She was our little tank. The thought that she is buried under then nandina is just so sad. Mark said he buried her where she could get the morning sun. She used to cry and wail after breakfast if there was no sun to lie in. Now she has the perfect spot to always catch the very first rays of sun.
40 year old very married vegetarian blonde woman having a midlife crisis. So I've taken a job in Hamamatsu, Japan teaching English, hoping this will be a career change and finding my destiny and maybe earning a little cash on the way there.
